do you think we can be famous if we want? how?

Answers

Answer 1
I would answer yes but mostly no.

It would be easy to go viral on the internet and that could most likely lead to your fame but being famous means that everyone knows you and it’s not a one time thing. Being viral limits your fame within people who use the internet and look at viral videos along with being a one time fame, like just that one video you’re in. People may not even recognize you, yourself, only recognize the video.

Additionally, trying to become famous in the entertainment industry is difficult, being visually appealing is the bottom line. As a actor you have to be good at acting which isn’t impossible but requires a lot of talent. As a singer you have to be good at singing, the same thing. And so on for comedians and other people in the industry. Everyone has to like you or you’ll be kicked out of the industry or not be famous.
No matter how many movies you act in, how many songs you sing, etc. they have to become hits for yourself to become famous.
And obviously through common sense, hits are difficult to make.

So in the end, becoming famous is hard, but being viral may be easy, or at least easier.

Sorry if this was all over the place, hope it helped.
Answer 2

Answer: In other words, you be whatever you want to be. But that kind of limits when it gets to fame. Being famous means people around the globe knows who you are. People know you, appreciate you. And theyre the reason why you have your fame. But that also means its not easy going viral. Most people do many things for years to become famous. So its better to just try, and one day, you'll get it

Abby analyzed her research. She found studies showing that high school students should get 8 hours of sleep. However, the 100 high school students she surveyed get an average of only 6 hours of sleep because of late bedtimes and early rising times. She concluded that if students started school at a later time, they would get more sleep.

Which new information would most likely require Abby to adjust her conclusion?

a university study on the time college students prefer to start class
recent research on students’ moods when they do not get enough sleep
a report showing research on what time most high school students go to sleep
research showing data that having a later school start time did not improve students’ sleep habits

Answers

Answer:

When they go to bed and what makes them stay up late

Explanation:

She would most likely need to know what time they go to bed because that could be a large factor in when they sleep. If they go to bed at 9 pm, then they wouldn't really benefit from a later sleep because they only get a few hours of sleep even if school started later. Meanwhile students who go to bed later would certainly benefit from the earlier start time.

Also she would need to know why they go to sleep late. For example, homework makes them stay up late because they need to finish their assignments, work on projects, study, etc. Another example is after school activities, students could arrive home late due to sports and have to eat dinner right as they come back, forcing them to do work late at night.

When two blocks of rock or two plates are rubbing against each other, they stick a little and start building up pressure in the two plates. When the pressure inside the plates overcome their force of sticking and the plates break causing earthquake .

Read the passage and study the image from Sugar Changed the World.

Slaves were given long, sharp machetes, which would be their equipment—but for some also their weapons—until the harvest was done. The cutters worked brutal, seemingly endless shifts during the harvest—for the hungry mills crushed cane from four in the afternoon to ten the next morning, stopping only in the midday heat. Slaves had to make sure there was just enough cane to feed the turning wheels during every one of those eighteen hours. They worked in teams, a man slashing the cane, a woman binding every twelve stalks into a bundle. According to one report from 1689, each pair of workers was expected to cut and bind 4,200 stalks a day. Exactly how much they cut depended on how much their mill could handle—the cutting must never get a day ahead of the grinding, for then the sugar cane would dry up.

Enslaved people working on a sugar cane plantation. Some people are cutting the cane, others bundle the cane, and another group place the bundles in wagons.

In this illustration by William Clark, enslaved people cut sugar cane.

How does the illustration best help the reader understand the text?

The illustration helps the reader recognize how teams cut and bundled sugar cane.
The illustration helps the reader determine why sugar cane had to be cut so quickly.
The illustration helps the reader observe the hot weather on sugar plantations.
The illustration helps the reader identify sugar-harvesting techniques still used today.

Answers

Answer:

The illustration best helps the reader understand the text because:

A. The illustration helps the reader recognize how teams cut and bundled sugar cane.

Explanation:

"Sugar Changed the World" is a book by authors Marc Aronson and Marina Budhos first published in 2010. The book dives deeply into the history of people and countries and its connection with sugar. It shows how sugar left a bloody trail behind in order to be produced and exported.

After reading the passage and reading the description of the illustration, we can safely say the illustration's purpose is to show how teams of slaves worked while preparing the sugar cane. One team cuts it, the other bundles it, and another places the bundles in wagons.

Answers

D. Tonight is the game night, besides the movie has terrible reviews.

"Tonight is game night; besides, that movie has terrible reviews", revision correctly punctuates the sentence. Hence, Option (A) is correct.

In the sentence, "Tonight is game night; besides, that movie has terrible reviews," the semicolon is used to separate the two independent clauses: "Tonight is game night" and "besides, that movie has terrible reviews."

The semicolon allows for a stronger separation between these two related but distinct thoughts.

The comma after "besides" is used to indicate a pause and introduce the dependent clause "that movie has terrible reviews."

Thus, the correct punctuation helps to clearly separate and connect the different elements of the sentence, ensuring proper understanding and readability.

Public libraries have been an equalizing force in our society, providing access to information resources to those who could not otherwise afford them . However ,when librarians encounter decreasing budgets and increasing operation costs they sometimes resort to charging fees for certain materials or services .is this an appropriate way to deal with a budget crisis ? Why or why not?

Answers

Answer:

It definitely isn't appropriate to deal with the budget that way. However, libraries aren't as popular as they used to be.

The main sources of public library revenue are subscriptions, library cess, grants from the government, and endowments.

Donations, Used Book Sales, raising money for your local library, and Scholastic Book Fairs (only in school libraries), can also help pay some of the budgets.

Victory Lap by George Saunders

Sorry to be so predictable, but I do love George Saunders. With this story, and the rest of the collection it comes from, Tenth of December, he was clearly taking his gifts for voice, character, and satire, and pushing himself to do something much harder and more humane. This story starts awkwardly, in tune with its two gangly teenage protagonists, and stutters through a lovely character study to suddenly burst into an action tale and an unlikely outbreak of heroism. It also offers a dazzling response to the writer’s dilemma of whether to move to a happy ending or a sad ending. On the last page, you can see Saunders looking at the options he has created for himself and simply opening his hands a little wider and saying, ‘Yes, we’ll have both of those
