Answer:
In my school, dress code is a common enemy. The girls are treated unfairly and must abide by the rules while the boys get off free.
Explanation:
Dear Mr/Ms……,
It was brought to my attention that there is some inequity in the school’s enforcement of the uniform policy. Many times the girls have been told their shorts are too short while we have personally observed several boys walking around with their pants so low that their underwear can be seen. Many of us believe this is wrong and is an indication of disparate treatment.
We have always been raised that a rule is the expectation, regardless. If the boys are allowed to interpret the rule any way that they can, the girls should be able to as well. We understand the schools thought process that shorter shorts or tank tops can distract the boys, but we find that unacceptable. To us that is simply allowing their behavior to continue and simply saying “boys will be boys”. Women have fought in the last 100 years for equality and the “boys will be boys” philosophy should not be accepted.
However, we recognize sometimes there are more issues and life is not as simple as we wish it could be. Therefore, we are not asking to change the dress policy to allow girls to wear tank tops or be questioned when their shorts are 4/10th of an inch too short, we are simply asking that the rules be enforced with equity, that everyone is held to the same expectation because we are all equal.
We have been told that a good negotiation is when no one walks away from the table happy because no one person got what they absolutely wanted. We believe, if you want to treat the girls and boys with equality, then the rules should be enforced with equality. If the expectation is clearly communicated to everyone and enforced with equality, then no one has any room to complain, even if they don’t agree with the policy.
We appreciate your time.

Hello. You did not enter the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for it to be answered accurately. However, I will try to help you in the best possible way.
A rebuttal is only effective if evidence is shown. Thus, the refutation shows that it is correct to disagree with something, showing evidence to support the exposed claims.
That way, you can only agree with the refutations shown in the text, if those refutations have true and proven evidence.

How does the author describe the symptoms of post-war trauma? How did Hillenbrand display the hardships experienced by veterans of the POW camps?
Hello. This question is about the book "unbroken.
1. The author describes the symptoms of post-war trauma as something agonizing and destructive. This is because it is these symptoms that make ex-prisoners unable to go on with their lives, feel their sanities go away, their marriage is destroyed and they adopt destructive behaviors, such as alcoholism, for example.
2. These difficulties were shown through the character Louis, who, due to the traumas that I have, cannot keep himself within the family, has no economic support, cannot find a job and is at the mercy of luck. This shows how irresponsible governments are for the lives of veterans, giving them no support.

How does Grendel's characterization in Beowulf differ from his
characterization in Grendel?
ASAP please!!
Answer:
The best option concerning how Grendel's characterization in "Beowulf" differs from his characterization is "Grendel" is:
B. In "Beowulf" he is a static character, but in "Grendel" he is a dynamic character.
Explanation:
In literature, a static character is one that does not undergo important change. He is basically the same from beginning to ending. On the other hand, a dynamic character does go through important internal changes as the plot unfolds. Those changes can be emotional or psychological, for instance.
In the epic poem "Beowulf", the character Grendel is described as a monster incapable of feeling. He seems to exist solely with the purpose of terrorizing and killing men. However, in John Gardner's "Grendel", the character is developed further. He has feelings, and he suffers precisely because he is not capable of conveying those feelings. His actions are misinterpreted, his monstrous appearance being all everyone can see and judge upon. Thus, we can safely say that, in "Beowulf", Grendel is a static character, while in "Grendel" he is a dynamic character.
